In 2009, Marla Walker founded this multi-platform space in Rhinebeck, NY, to offer engaging educational, retail, and event-based experiences. All workshops were taught by Hudson Valley artists, writers and craftspeople.

The impetus for Wing & Clover was to bring life and energy to the street through a storefront space, as well as promote the idea that an “examined life” is an enriched life and that everyone has a creative impulse worth pursuing. We offered hands-on classes for students of all ages, along with all of the tools and inspiration one might need. The name Wing & Clover refers to the tool (wing) and raw material (clover) that bees need to make honey.

The Wing & Clover space in Rhinebeck is now closed.
