Birthday Parties

Celebrate your child’s birthday with an arts and crafts party.  Does your child love butterflies or dragonflies? Let’s have a party to make and decorate wings to wear home.  Harboring a pirate of the high seas? Bring his and her mateys in to make captain’s hats, eye patches and hook hands to fuel the imagination. If princesses or knights are more your thing, we can make sparkly crowns and tulle capes or helmets of cardboard armor. Animal enthusiasts will be thrilled with one of our animal-crafts parties.If your little girl is growing up awfully fast, we have great projects for “tweens” too: duct-tape wallets, felt & fabric flower/feather accessories, leather-cord braided bracelets and beaded jewelry.

We work with you to find a theme and project tailored to your child’s interests and appropriate to his or her age. Please note certain custom projects may involve more costly supplies that will result in a supplies fee; The youngest party we can accommodate is for children turning 5. Parties are 2 hours long. We provide all the supplies & instruction (and smocks) for your chosen project, along with one large table for your food/treats. Each party-goer will have a project to take home. A minimum of one adult must stay for the length of the party. Additional adults are welcome.

Grown Up Parties

Just because you’re turning 30-40-50, etc… instead of 5 doesn’t mean you can’t invite your friends to a party of art and craft making! Or, maybe you’d like to gather a group to create decorations for your home or try a project that uses a technique or material you’ve never tried before. We’ll have the supplies and instruction; you bring the fun. Custom events are always possible; tell us what you’re thinking, and we can work together to make it happen!

$200 base price for up to 6 adults. $20 for each additional person. A deposit is required to reserve your date. Contact amy@wingandclover.com to talk about how we can help you host a get-together with friends for an evening or afternoon of crafting.

Silhouette Portrait Salon, Saturday 12/1

Take a little pause in the midst of the Sinterklaas celebration to sit for a silhouette portrait and take home an heirloom. Jenny Lee Fowler cuts custom silhouette portraits the old-fashioned way– with a keen eye and terribly sharp scissors.

Sinterklaas Reindeer Paper Puppet Workshop, Saturday 12/1

Join us on Saturday, December 1, for our 3rd annual free Sinterklaas workshop!  This year we’ll be cutting Reindeer Paper Puppets by paper cutting genius Jenny Lee Fowler. This free workshop takes place from 3:00-4:30. There is no need to register in advance.
